Rentsome: Rent Tools & Gear

Rent tools, cameras, party gear, camping kit and appliances from people near you, priced by the day. Or list the things in your garage and earn when neighbors borrow them. Rentsome is the peer-to-peer rental marketplace for your neighborhood. RENT WHAT YOU NEED • Pressure washers, ladders, generators, carpet cleaners, projectors, folding tables, kayaks, camera lenses and more • Browse by category or search, see how far away each item is, and check the owner's reviews • The total, including the service fee and tax, is shown before you confirm. No hidden fees • Request your dates. Your card is only authorized, never charged, until the owner accepts • Coordinate pickup in messages, use it, bring it back LEND WHAT YOU DON'T • Snap a photo and Rentsome's AI writes the title, description and a suggested daily price • Set your own rates, approve who rents from you, or turn on Instant Book • Payouts go to your bank through Stripe. No invoices, no chasing • Extend, cancel and message from one screen BUILT ON TRUST • A refundable security deposit backs every booking. It is held on the renter's card, never charged unless a claim is upheld, and released automatically 72 hours after return • ID verification through Stripe Identity kicks in for higher-value items • Trust scores, verified badges, check-in photos and two-way reviews • Listings show the neighborhood, not the address HOW IT WORKS 1.
