PurrTrait Mood

PurrTrait Mood reads your cat's body language and tells you what they're actually feeling. Cats communicate mostly through visual cues like ear position, pupil size, tail movement, body posture. Most of us learn to recognize a few obvious ones (the puffed-up "Halloween cat" or the slow blink). PurrTrait Mood notices the rest. Snap a photo or record a 15-second video and the AI returns: • An emotion classification (relaxed, happy, playful, anxious, fearful, or aggressive) • A confidence level (high, medium, low) so you know how certain it is • A plain English explanation of which body language features led to the answer, e.g. "ears forward, pupils dilated, low swishing tail = hunting/play mode" WHY IT WORKS The emotion taxonomy is grounded in feline behavioral research, including the Feline Grimace Scale used by veterinarians. The visual analysis uses AI vision models adapted for cats with a curated body-language reference. YOU CAN • Capture from camera or pick from your photo library • Record short videos (the AI samples multiple frames for a more reliable read) • Review every analysis in your private history • Share a result with friends via a private link • Delete any analysis, or your whole account, instantly from inside the app PRIVACY FIRST Photos are processed for analysis and stored in your private history. If you suspect your cat is in pain or distress, please see a licensed veterinarian. Made for curious cat owners, new adopters, and anyone who's ever asked their cat "what is going on in your head right now?"
