Read to Unlock: App Blocker

You don't quit social media. You earn it. Read a page, answer one question, unlock your apps. Read to Unlock is the only app blocker that turns books into real screen time — automatically. --- STOP BLOCKING. START EARNING. Most app blockers fail because they fight your habits. This one restructures them. Instead of cutting off access, Read to Unlock makes your favorite apps conditional. Instagram, TikTok, YouTube — they're all still there. You just read first. --- HOW IT WORKS - Open the app and scan any book page - Answer one quick comprehension check - Earn minutes of screen time instantly - Your locked apps open automatically Read 10 pages, earn 20 minutes. Use 15 minutes, 5 minutes remain. No balance, apps stay locked. No timers to start. No manual tracking. It runs in the background and enforces itself. --- WHAT YOU GET READING THAT ACTUALLY UNLOCKS THINGS Every page you read converts to real, usable screen time. APP BLOCKING THAT STICKS Powered by Apple Screen Time — no VPN, no battery drain, no workarounds. INSTANT ACCESS WHEN YOU HAVE EARNED IT No delays, no friction — your apps open the moment credit applies. FLEXIBLE OR STRICT — YOUR CALL Allow emergency overrides when you need them, or go full lock-in with Strict Mode. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE Track pages read, minutes earned, and streaks building over time. MEET OCTOPY Your reading companion who grows with every page you finish. --- BUILT FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING ELSE Not a detox. Not a guilt app. Not another streak you will break by Tuesday. Just a simple system: Read. Earn. Enjoy. Over time you get more reading done, less impulsive scrolling, and a habit that actually holds — because it is attached to something you already want to do anyway. --- PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Powered by Apple Screen Time API - Zero data sold or shared - All activity stays on your device --- WHO IT IS FOR - People who want to read more but never follow through - Heavy phone users who have given up on traditional blockers - Anyone tired of the scroll, guilt, repeat cycle --- Read first.
