Wilderness Vault: Survival Kit

Survival knowledge. Ready offline. Keep 85 illustrated survival guides and emergency reference cards on your device. Learn outdoor skills before you leave and find useful information when cell service disappears. With Pro, bring your route, packing list and chosen guides together in a personal preparation workspace. YOUR OFFLINE SURVIVAL LIBRARY Explore 18 topics, including fire, water, shelter, navigation, first aid, knots, signaling, weather and wildlife. Practical illustrations support learning, and on-device search finds guides using everyday words. Save guides for quick access and adjust reading text to suit you. FREE SAFETY ESSENTIALS Nine Field Reference cards cover bleeding, cold and heat illness, lightning, getting lost, rescue signaling, safe water and the Ten Essentials. Each cites its public source. Essential safety guides, SOS flashlight and your emergency information card remain free. PLAN, PACK AND ORGANIZE WITH PRO Create offline trip plans with route and return details, personal notes and editable preparation tasks. Start with gear suggestions for five environments, add your own items and track what is packed. Save reusable gear templates and group guides into custom collections. Deliberately share a trip plan using the system share sheet; the app never sends plans automatically. Planning suggestions are a starting point, not a safety assessment or a complete equipment list. A PRACTICAL FIELD KIT Record GPS tracks and save waypoints. Pro adds a compass, checklists, Morse code, survival priorities, weather and track export. GPS positioning works without cell service. Map imagery requires connectivity or an area downloaded separately in Apple Maps before your trip; a saved region in Wilderness Vault is a bookmark, not a map download. US National Weather Service forecasts and alerts require a connection; previously loaded weather can be viewed offline. ASK YOUR LIBRARY On compatible devices with Apple Intelligence available, Ask AI runs on device and draws from the guide library with source links. Other devices offer offline guide search. Emergency questions surface matching Field Reference cards. FREE AND LIFETIME PRO Free includes 34 guides, all nine Field Reference cards, search, saved guides, SOS, emergency information, GPS tracks and waypoints, one saved map-region bookmark and three Ask AI questions per day on supported devices. One optional Wilderness Vault Pro purchase unlocks every guide, preparation tools, additional field tools, unlimited Ask AI, unlimited map-region bookmarks and track export. No subscription. Existing Pro owners keep their access; restore with the same Apple Account. Native layouts support iPhone, iPad and iPhone Duo, light and dark appearances and adjustable text. No account is required. Personal trip plans, collections, packing lists, tracks, waypoints and emergency information stay on your device unless you choose to share them. Wilderness Vault is an educational reference. It does not replace professional training, qualified medical care or emergency services. Contact emergency services first in an emergency. High-risk topics retain preparation and safety restrictions.
