About Mots – Word Games & Crossword

Nine word games in one app, in Catalan, German, English and Spanish. A quick round on the bus, or a proper sit-down with the crossword: it's all in here. THE GAMES Wordle: guess the five-letter word in six tries. Green means right letter, right spot. Yellow means right letter, wrong spot. Spelling Bee: seven letters in a honeycomb. Build words of four letters or more, and the middle one always has to be in there. Letter Boxed: twelve letters around the four sides of a square. Each word starts where the last one ended, and you can't chain two letters from the same side. Connections: sixteen words, four secret groups of four. Some of them look like they belong in two groups at once. That's the trap. Cipher: a phrase with every letter swapped for another one. Crack a single letter and the rest starts falling on its own. Synonyms: a word, its definition, and four candidates. You get one heart, so read it properly. Classics: a classic book, its cover, and five questions about it. Crossword: a grid where every row and every column reads as a word. Five by five to start, six by six further in. Not a Word: ten masters, each guarding a secret word they describe in riddles. Offer a word, ask a yes-or-no question, press them for another angle. They always tell the truth, and working out the word is up to you. A CHALLENGE EVERY DAY Each day picks three games for you. Finish all three to keep your streak alive and take your spot on the daily leaderboard. There's an all-time board too, if you're in it for the long game. MORE THAN 1,000 PUZZLES PER LANGUAGE Sorted from gentle to genuinely hard. Every game keeps its levels in an album of cards, and each level earns up to three stars depending on how cleanly you solved it. Replay a finished level to go for all three. MADE FOR IPHONE DUO Open it and every game goes landscape: the board on one side; your level, today's challenge and your streak on the other. Half-fold it and the board stands up top, with the keyboard below the fold. ALSO IN THERE - Medals for streaks, milestones and playing a bit of everything - A free spin of the daily wheel, worth up to 50 coins - Coins for hints and second chances: earn them by playing, or buy them if you'd rather not wait - Fun facts about the words you just guessed - No ads - Made in Switzerland
