About PilotConnect
PilotConnect is the marketplace for general aviation. Booking a checkride shouldn't take weeks of phone calls. Finding a CFI or mechanic shouldn't mean digging through forums. PilotConnect brings pilots and the providers who serve them into one place — so you can connect, book, and fly. FOR PILOTS Find and book the people who get you flying — designated examiners (DPEs), flight instructors (CFIs), and A&P mechanics — all in one place. Connect with other pilots, explore hundreds of aviation data points, and discover new destinations worth the flight. FOR PROVIDERS Create your schedule, set your preferences, and let pilots come to you. No more phone tag or missed bookings — manage your availability and grow your business on your terms. SECURE IN-APP PAYMENTS Book and pay in seconds. Pilots pay securely in-app; providers get paid fast — no invoicing, no chasing, no hassle. EVERYTHING IN ONE APP Full aviation weather, live radar, airport diagrams, frequencies, and detailed field data at your fingertips. Plan smarter, fly safer, and keep everything you need in a single place. Built by pilots, for pilots. From your first checkride to your thousandth hour, PilotConnect was built to help you in every step of your aviation journey! What’s new
Version 3.0 · Updated September 28, 2026
PilotConnect 3.0 — the full EFB is here!! The chart is on your yoke. Traffic is on the screen. Your glide range is drawn under you, your next runway already has the crosswind worked out, and every closed taxiway is one tap away. This is the biggest update we have ever shipped — built with real pilots, flown for real, and made to earn a spot on your kneeboard. FLY • Sectional charts that are fast, sharp and offline-ready — TFRs, weather radar, pilot reports and terrain as layers you choose. • Live traffic from your ADS-B receiver: Stratux, Stratus (Open ADS-B mode), SkyEcho and other GDL 90 units. • Glide ring: where you can reach engine-out, from your altitude and the terrain below. • An instrument strip you set up yourself — press and hold any box to swap it. PLAN • Flight planner with fuel, winds, weight & balance, and a Go/No-Go light against your personal minimums. • Crosswind on every runway end, in every airport card. • Real FAA NOTAMs at every airport — closures first, in plain English, with the FAA's own words one tap away. • Airport diagrams with taxiway names, and a Flight Bag that packs charts, weather and airport data for offline use. LOG • Flight Recorder: every flight tracked automatically, split by leg, with replay. • My Aircraft: hours, oil and inspection reminders for your airplane. • Kneeboard: a scratch pad and VFR templates you can write on. ALSO • Redesigned home screen, airport cards and weather — hourly and daily, with the TAF when the field has one. • Full iPad support. • Three free AI weather briefs; unlimited with a subscription. • Providers: a new overview card with your pending requests and open hours. PilotConnect's flight tools are for situational awareness only and are not a substitute for certified navigation equipment or an official briefing.
