About MikoTalk

MikoTalk is a mobile softphone for employees of organizations using MikoPBX. Connect to your organization’s PBX using the server address and credentials provided by your administrator, or scan a provisioning QR code. Features: • incoming and outgoing VoIP calls; • incoming call notifications, including when the app is in the background; • integration with the iPhone system call interface; • MikoPBX employee directory and local device contacts; • searchable call history; • playback of call recordings when recording is enabled by the PBX administrator; • secure storage of connection settings; • English and Russian interface. MikoTalk requires access to a MikoPBX system with the "WebRTC Softphone Backend" module installed and configured. Sign-in credentials are provided by your organization’s administrator. Device contacts are processed locally and are not transmitted to MIKO. Call data and recordings remain on your organization’s MikoPBX system. MikoTalk is not a replacement for conventional telephone service. Availability of emergency calling depends on the configuration of your organization’s PBX.

What’s new

Version 1.0.18 · Updated October 15, 2026

- Fixed missing audio on incoming and outgoing calls: audio now connects reliably through the relay server, including on mobile networks and behind strict NAT. - Added missed calls: badge counter on the app icon and tab, a lock-screen banner showing the caller, tap-to-open in history, and automatic clearing of unread once viewed. - Added in-app playback of call recordings — with seeking, progressive download, and repeat playback. - Added an in-call keypad (tone dialing for voice menus/IVR) with press feedback; tones are now correctly sent to the PBX. - Improved incoming-call reliability: calls arrive after the phone is locked, the push token recovers correctly, and stuck call screens are cleared automatically. - Resolved false missed calls: a call answered on another device or in the browser is no longer marked as missed; transferring a call now closes the call screen correctly. - Improved connection and sign-in stability: automatic session recovery after drops, failover to a backup server address, and token refresh on authorization failure. - Fixed other app notifications being suppressed (push notifications no longer override one another). - Hardened security: protection of embedded secrets and gating of release builds. - Expanded call diagnostics (connection quality, audio path) for faster support troubleshooting.
