Shortlist: Movie Ranking

Shortlist is the movie ranking and TV show ranking app. Stop rating movies. Start ranking them. No scores, no stars, no overthinking. Shortlist exists because finding something to watch shouldn't depend on an algorithm. It should come from the people you actually trust. Shortlist makes it easy to build a definitive ranked list of every movie and TV show you've watched, so your whole network can do the same, and everyone gets a better answer to what to watch next. How Movie Ranking Works: When you add a new title, Shortlist pits it against titles already on your list. You just keep picking your favorite. Each head-to-head matchup narrows down exactly where the new title belongs until it finds its place in your ranking. Movies and TV shows get their own ranked lists, so your TV show rankings never get tangled up with your movie rankings. Never Forget A Recommendation: Add titles to your watchlist the moment someone mentions them, mark what you're currently watching, and leave notes on anything. Who recommended it, why you added it, whatever you need to remember. No more losing a recommendation to the back of your memory. Always In The Loop: When a friend ranks a title, adds something to their watchlist, or marks a show as currently watching, your activity feed shows it in real time. No algorithm deciding what you see. Just the people you follow and what they're actually into right now. Built Around You: Forget score aggregators and critic consensus. Shortlist gives you three scores that actually mean something: a predictive score based on your own taste and rankings, a friend score based on how people you follow have ranked a title, and a global score from the full Shortlist community. Real opinions, personalized to you. Make Lists Together: Create collaborative lists and tier lists with friends or family. Curate collections around anything you love: essential comedies, top buddy-cop movies, perfect date night picks, whatever comes to mind. Keep Ranking: Earn achievements as you rank and build streaks over time. Spoiler-Free: Toggle spoiler warnings so you can browse and talk freely without ruining anything for yourself or others.
