Speed Read by YComplex

Speed Read uses RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation) to help you read faster. Words are displayed one at a time with a highlighted focal letter, training your eyes to stay centered and eliminating subvocalization — the habit that slows most readers down. Import your own books, articles, and documents in EPUB, PDF, TXT, or Markdown format. Paste any web URL and the app extracts the article text automatically. Your entire library lives on-device. Features: - RSVP reader with a color-highlighted focal letter for each word - Adjustable speed from 50 to 1,000 words per minute - Two play modes: Play/Pause or Press to Play (hold to read, release to stop) - Chapter navigation for multi-chapter EPUBs - Import documents: EPUB, PDF, TXT, and Markdown files - Read web articles by pasting a URL - 7 monospace font choices including JetBrains Mono, Fira Code, and Courier Prime - Adjustable font size - Reading position saved automatically — pick up where you left off - Pure black dark theme designed for OLED screens - No account required. All data stays on your device.
