ReShelvd

ReShelvd: Trade Books Locally Turn your bookshelf into a community library. ReShelvd is a tool for people who want to trade physical books with their neighbors. Instead of letting finished books sit on a shelf, you can list them for trade and find new stories from readers nearby. CATALOG IN SECONDS Building your digital library is simple. Use the built-in scanner to identify your books by simply pointing your camera at the cover or spine. There’s no need to manually type out titles or authors—the app recognizes your books and adds them to your shelf instantly. TRADE SAFELY & LOCALLY Connect with other readers in your neighborhood to organize swaps. To keep your home private, ReShelvd uses a randomized 200-meter location offset. This allows you to see what’s available in your general area—like the Sydney Inner West—without ever sharing your exact address. READING FOR A CAUSE We believe in supporting the wider literary community. 50% of all profits from ReShelvd are donated to charities helping to improve literacy and plant trees. A MORE SUSTAINABLE WAY TO READ Trading books is a simple way to reduce paper waste and keep stories moving. By swapping instead of buying new, you contribute to a more sustainable, circular reading culture. Key Features: - Visual Scanning: Effortlessly identify and list books using your camera. - Direct Swaps: Message local readers to coordinate physical trades. - Privacy-First: Your precise location is never displayed to other users. - Local Focus: Discover hidden gems right in your neighborhood.
