What’s new

Version 1.1.1 · Updated March 6, 2026

- Automatic prayer method for your region — Noor Times now automatically selects the correct calculation method for your country (e.g. ISNA for North America, Umm al-Qura for Saudi Arabia, Egyptian for the Levant, and more). No manual setup needed. - Tap your location — the location name on the fasting card is now tappable. Tap it to quickly switch cities without opening Settings. - Smarter location switching — switching between automatic and custom location is faster and more reliable. The app now carries over your current GPS location as a starting point when you switch to manual mode. - Bug fixes — fixed an issue where prayer times would show a loading spinner indefinitely after changing your location. Prayer times now update instantly when you switch cities. - Widget improvements — the home screen widget is more reliable and stays in sync when your location changes.
