PrivyFeed is a private, local-first RSS reader that brings AI to your feeds—without sending your data to the cloud. Read and organize • Subscribe to any RSS/Atom feed • Inbox, Unread, and feed groups • OPML import and export • Clean reading view with article detail AI that stays on your side • Connect to Ollama on your iPhone, Mac, or home server (e.g. Raspberry Pi) • Summarize articles in your preferred language • Ask questions about your feed—semantic search finds relevant chunks and your local model answers • Embeddings and index stored on device (SQLite); no third‑party AI APIs required Privacy first • No account required to use the app • Feeds and AI run against your own Ollama instance • Optional HTTP feeds; settings for timeout, models, and refresh Best for RSS users who want summaries and Q&A over their subscriptions using a self-hosted or local LLM (e.g. Llama, Qwen, Mistral via Ollama).
