Fynyx

Fynyx is a home inventory app for disaster preparedness and insurance claims. Photograph and catalog everything you own — organized by home, floor, and room — so when fire, flood, or theft happens, you have a documented record ready to hand to your insurance company. No one wants to think about losing everything. But if it happens, the last thing you need is to be standing in a parking lot trying to remember what was in your kitchen cabinets. HOW IT WORKS Create your household and add your rooms. Photograph items, add descriptions, values, and receipts. Fynyx organizes everything into a clean hierarchy: home, floor, room, item. When you need it, export your full inventory as a PDF report, Excel spreadsheet, or CSV file — complete with photos. WHAT YOU GET Photograph and catalog every item in your home. Organize by floor and room with smart templates for any dwelling type. Scan receipts and automatically extract purchase details. Get smart item descriptions and value estimates. Export to PDF, Excel, or CSV with embedded photos. Share your inventory with trusted contacts — family, roommates, insurance agents. Works offline. Your data syncs when you are back online. BUILT FOR REAL LIFE Fynyx was built by two people in Bend, Oregon who needed this app and figured you might too. No investors. No board of directors. No subscription required for core features. Catalog your home, export your inventory, share with the people who matter — all free. The fancier features — receipt scanning, smart descriptions, room analysis — run on technology that costs actual money to operate. If we add optional upgrades down the road, know that two people in Oregon are staring at a cloud computing bill and doing math on a napkin. If something breaks, report it. We read every single one. Yes, even the ones that just say "it's broken." Your home inventory, safe and sound. Because nobody should have to remember everything from memory after a disaster.
