What’s new

Version 1.2.1 · Updated October 9, 2026

AI recipe import works again: Google retired the AI model that Stravnyk used, so importing a recipe from a photo failed with "API error: HTTP 404". Stravnyk now uses Gemini 3.6 Flash by default. Choose your AI model: go to Settings > AI Features > AI Model and pick from the Gemini models available for your API key. The list comes directly from Google, so newer models appear there as Google releases them. Clearer error messages: if Google retires your chosen model, Stravnyk tells you, and you can switch to another model without waiting for an app update. Better translations: many screens, messages, and VoiceOver descriptions that still appeared in English are now translated into every supported language, including Cook Mode, timers, meal planning, grocery lists, iCloud sync, and importing from the share sheet. Siri and Shortcuts: Cook Mode commands are now translated. Consistent app name: the app now uses the name Stravnyk throughout. Thank you for cooking with Stravnyk!
