Mockingjay - Secure Bodycam

They can take your phone. Not your footage. Mockingjay turns your iPhone into a secure bodycam. Every few seconds of video is encrypted and uploaded to your own Google Drive while you are still recording. If your phone is grabbed, smashed or confiscated mid-recording, what has already uploaded stays in your Drive. Uploading needs a data connection; without one, video waits on the phone until you are back online. Built for journalists, activists, witnesses, domestic violence survivors and anyone who may need video proof of what happened. WHY IT'S DIFFERENT Normal camera apps keep the video on the phone. Cloud apps upload after you stop. Mockingjay uploads during the recording, so there is no gap for anyone to take away. KEY FEATURES • Live encrypted upload: footage reaches the cloud while you record • Your own Google Drive: no Mockingjay servers, nobody else holds your video • AES-256-GCM encryption, with keys protected by the Secure Enclave • Emergency PIN: a second PIN that opens the app but locks this phone out of your recordings, while the cloud copy stays safe • One-press start: record from the Action Button (iPhone 15 Pro and later) or a Shortcut without typing a PIN • Share with someone you trust: send a private link, and the passphrase separately, so a family member, lawyer or advocate can open your recordings • GPS location and C2PA Content Credentials to support where and when it was filmed (Pro) • 480p, 720p or 1080p quality (Pro) PERFECT FOR • Witnessing a police stop or an arrest • Documenting harassment, stalking or abuse • Covering protests and breaking news • Recording incidents with landlords, neighbours or on the road • Anyone who needs video that survives losing the phone PRIVACY • Recordings go only to your Google Drive account • Encrypted before they leave the phone • No footage on our servers • You decide who gets a link MOCKINGJAY PRO Free: recordings up to 60 seconds, 720p, 7-day history.
