About MediCabinet

MediCabinet is your personal medicine cabinet tracker — the all-in-one app to organize, track, and manage all your medications, vitamins, supplements, and natural remedies. MEDICINE CABINET Add everything in your medicine cabinet with full details: name, quantity, expiration date, storage location, category, type, and personal notes. Organize across 14 smart categories including Pain Relief, Allergy, Digestive, Cold & Flu, Sleep, Vitamins, Supplements, First Aid, Skin Care, Herbal Tea, Herbal Supplement, Homeopathic, Aromatherapy, and more. Filter by type — OTC, Prescription, Supplement, Natural, Homeopathic, or Custom. SMART EXPIRATION ALERTS Never use expired medicine again. MediCabinet sends you 4 automatic reminders for every medication: 30 days before, 7 days before, 1 day before, and on the expiration day. Color-coded status indicators let you see at a glance which items are good (green), moderate (yellow), expiring soon (orange), or expired (red). DRUG ENCYCLOPEDIA & TRUSTED DATA SOURCES Browse a built-in database of 70+ common medications. Search real-time drug information from three trusted U.S. government health databases: • openFDA (U.S. Food & Drug Administration) — Official drug labels, safety warnings, adverse events, and National Drug Code directory • RxNorm (National Library of Medicine) — Standardized drug names, clinical identifiers, drug interactions, and spelling suggestions • DailyMed (National Library of Medicine) — Complete package inserts and Structured Product Labeling submitted by pharmaceutical companies Toggle each data source on or off individually. Search results are cached locally for faster access and offline use. iCLOUD SYNC Your medication data syncs automatically across all your Apple devices via your private iCloud database. Add a medication on your iPhone and see it instantly on your iPad. Your data is encrypted and accessible only to your Apple ID. WORKS OFFLINE Your entire medicine cabinet works without an internet connection. The built-in encyclopedia is always available. Internet is only needed for searching government drug databases, and results are cached for offline access. PRIVACY FIRST Your data stays on your device and your private iCloud — period. No user accounts, no registration, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party tracking. We have no servers and cannot access your data. Built with Apple's industry-leading encryption and security. ADDITIONAL FEATURES • Apple Health (HealthKit) integration (optional) • Smart caching with configurable refresh intervals • Customizable default storage location • Guided 5-step onboarding with medical disclaimers • Dark mode interface IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER MediCabinet is an informational and organizational tool only.
