About Wearage

Wearage tracks bicycle component wear using your Strava ride data — so you always know when to replace your chain, cassette, tires, brake pads, and more. Connect your Strava account once, and Wearage automatically syncs your ride distances to every component on every bike. No manual logging. No guesswork. TRACK EVERY PART Add components to your bikes and Wearage tracks how far each one has been ridden. Set your own replacement intervals or use the built-in defaults based on component type. KNOW BEFORE IT BREAKS Wear progress bars and alerts tell you when parts are approaching their limit — before a worn chain takes out your cassette, or a cracked tire leaves you stranded. SERVICE REMINDERS For wax chains, Wearage tracks kilometers since last wax and reminds you when it's time. Log a service event with one tap to reset the counter. BUILT FOR REAL RIDERS • Supports multiple bikes, tracked independently • Add an entire groupset at once • Retroactively log part changes you forgot to track • Works with any Strava-connected bike: road, MTB, gravel, commuter • Distance in km or miles PRIVACY FIRST Wearage uses only the data it needs — ride distances and bike association. No GPS routes, no heart rate, no ads, no analytics. Full privacy policy at wearage.app/privacy. Requires a free Strava account.

What’s new

Version 1.9.0 · Updated October 6, 2026

- Interactive bike diagram (experimental) — turn it on in Settings → Experimental, then open a bike to get a 3D bike you can spin with your finger (flick it to keep it turning). Drag the Assembled/Exploded slider to pull the parts apart, tap any numbered part — or its row in the "Parts" list — for its details, and tap an empty spot to add that component. Worn or overdue parts are ringed in colour right on the bike. A toolbar button switches back to the list any time - Ride Stats — a new screen (Settings → Ride stats, or tap the card at the top of My Garage) showing distance, moving time, ride count, elevation, most-used bike, a trend chart and a per-bike breakdown for Week / Month / Year / Year-to-date. The garage card gives a compact snapshot with a 7-day sparkline and remembers your chosen period. Ride history backfills in the background up to 3 years - Needs attention card — one place in My Garage listing everything overdue across every bike, hidden ones included: replace now, replace soon, service or wax due, tubeless sealant. Shows your top 3 with "+N more"; tap a row to jump straight there. Only appears when something's actually due - Attach parts to a wheelset — a cassette, tire or rotor can now belong to a wheelset and follow it when you swap wheels. Activating a wheelset activates everything on it in one tap and deactivates what was on the wheelset it replaced. Attach from the ⋮ menu or right when adding the part; moving or retiring a wheelset carries its parts along automatically. With two wheelsets, a part can move straight from one to the other - The component list groups a wheelset and its parts into one collapsible card when browsing All / Active / Replace Soon; filtering to a specific type still lists them separately with an "Attached to X" note - Component detail has a new "Assembly" section showing what a part is attached to, or what a wheelset is carrying — each tappable - Component detail has a new Maintenance / Sync toggle on its history. The Sync tab lists every sync that added distance or time to that component, dated by when you actually rode — e.g. "5 Jan 2026 · 14:32 — +12 km". Components tracked by hours show time instead - Components with no service interval (cassettes, tires, custom parts) now show Sync History where the history area used to be empty - The filter dropdown no longer splits tires, brake pads and rotors into separate Front/Rear entries — "Tires" now shows both. Front and rear still activate independently as before
