About Crush Signals
Notice someone interesting nearby? Send a Crush. Crush Signals helps people turn real-life moments into real connections. Instead of browsing endless profiles or swiping through strangers, Crush begins with something that already happened, a moment you noticed in the real world. The glance across the room. The smile at the café. The moment you almost said hello. Now you can find out if that moment was mutual. How Crush Signals Works 1. Notice someone nearby At a café, bar, event, university, or anywhere around you. 2. Send a Crush Signal Describe the moment using simple clues such as: • where you saw them • the situation you noticed • the vibe of the moment 3. They recognize the moment Nearby users receive the signal. If the description sounds like them, they can respond. 4. Mutual confirmation If both sides confirm the interaction, the app reveals profiles and the chat becomes available. Communication only starts after both people agree. Designed for Real-World Social Moments Crush works best in places where people naturally meet: • cafés • bars • restaurants • events • universities • social venues Use Venue Pulse to discover places nearby where activity is happening. Privacy and Safety Crush Signals is designed to respect privacy and encourage positive interactions. Safety features include: • mutual confirmation before chat • profile visibility only after confirmation • reporting and blocking tools • community guidelines against abusive behavior Users remain private until both sides agree to connect. Why Crush Signals Is Different Most social apps start with browsing strangers. Crush Signals starts with a real moment between two people who are already nearby. You noticed someone. Now you can discover if they noticed you too. Features • Send Crush Signals to people nearby • Mutual confirmation before messaging • Real-world moment descriptions • Venue Pulse activity discovery • Reporting and blocking tools • Private profile reveal after confirmation Sometimes the best connections begin with a simple moment.
