About MotivoSteps
MotivoSteps is your daily step tracking companion for iPhone and Apple Watch. Stay motivated, build healthy habits, and earn badges for every milestone along the way. TODAY VIEW See your live step count, a progress ring toward your daily goal, and an inspiring fitness quote to keep you moving. Your goal is always front and center. 7-DAY HISTORY Track your walking trends with a bar chart of the last 7 days. See your weekly total and daily average at a glance so you know exactly how consistent you have been. 32 ACHIEVEMENTS AND BADGES MotivoSteps turns your steps into a collection of badges you earn over time. Every badge has a name, a tier, and a story behind it. Streak and Goal Badges Earn these by building consistency. First Victory unlocks the first time you hit your goal. On a Roll rewards a 3-day streak. Week Warrior takes 7 days in a row. Monthly Champion requires 30 consecutive days. Overachiever fires when you hit 200 percent of your goal in one day. Early Bird unlocks when you reach your goal before noon. Lifetime Step Milestones Century at 100,000 steps. Half Million at 500,000. Million Steps at one million. These mark how far you have walked across your entire life with the app. Year Legend This badge evolves as you grow. Hit your goal for 365 cumulative days and earn the Bronze Year One badge. Reach 1,095 days and it upgrades to Silver Three Year Legend. At 1,825 days it becomes the Gold Five Year Legend. One badge, three chapters. Trail and Landmark Badges These badges let you virtually walk the most iconic trails and landmarks in the world using your lifetime step total. Walk the equivalent of real places, one step at a time. City Walks earn Bronze badges: The High Line in New York, the Freedom Trail in Boston, El Malecon in Havana, the Atlanta BeltLine, and the Embarcadero in San Francisco. National Park Hikes earn Silver badges: Bright Angel Trail at the Grand Canyon, Half Dome in Yosemite, Angels Landing in Zion, Emerald Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park, Old Rag Mountain in Shenandoah, the Caminito del Rey in Spain, and the Na Pali Coast in Kauai. Epic Long-Distance Trails earn Gold badges: the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim, the Camino de Santiago, the Great Wall of China hiking section, the Inca Trail in Peru, the Appalachian Trail, the Pacific Crest Trail, and Te Araroa in New Zealand. ACHIEVEMENT CELEBRATIONS The moment you unlock a badge, a full-screen celebration takes over with a confetti explosion bursting from the center of the screen, a spinning badge coin, and haptic feedback. Every celebration is color-matched to the badge tier. Tap anywhere or press Awesome to dismiss. GOAL SYNC WITH APPLE WATCH Set your daily step goal on iPhone and it syncs to your Apple Watch instantly. Change it on the Watch and it updates on iPhone. Both devices always stay in sync using all available WatchConnectivity channels. What’s new
Version 1.0.15 · Updated September 28, 2026
What's new in 1.0.15: • Health Access in Settings — See your Apple Health connection status at a glance, re-check permissions with one tap, and follow a simple step-by-step guide to turn access back on. • Always connected — MotivoSteps now verifies Health permissions every time you open the app, so an iOS or watchOS update won't silently stop your step tracking. • Apple Watch — The watch app now re-checks Health access whenever you return to it, explains how to turn access back on, and is fully translated into Spanish. • Full history reminder — If you shared only recent Health data, MotivoSteps now lets you know your totals, streaks, and badges may be incomplete, and shows how to allow full history. • Widgets stay fresh — Your Home Screen widgets refresh automatically as soon as Health access is restored, and now work on all versions of iOS 26. • Much faster — Your streak, badges, history, and hourly charts now load almost instantly, using less battery. • Refreshed social links — Updated X and TikTok icons in "Try Our Other Apps." • Bug fixes and performance improvements. Enjoying MotivoSteps? A quick rating or review helps a lot. Keep stepping!
