ReptiDex

ReptiDex is the breeding records app that connects your work to your buyer's confidence. Track your collection, manage pairings, generate pedigrees, and transfer complete records when you sell. Every animal gets a history. Every buyer gets proof. Built by Dusty Mumphrey, an active crested gecko breeder and senior software engineer with 9+ years of experience. ReptiDex exists because no other tool met the standard he needed for his own breeding program. If you breed reptiles, this app was built for you. PEDIGREES & LINEAGE Visualize pedigrees across up to 5 generations. Print them. Hand them to buyers. Link sires and dams across your own collection and, with another keeper's approval, across collections, and let the app build the family tree automatically. Verified and breeder-claimed ancestors are clearly marked, and privacy is built in: an approved link stays in a pedigree permanently, while animals kept private are never exposed in someone else's tree. The lineage tools serious breeders have been waiting for. QR CODES Generate a QR code for any animal. Print cage cards. Stick them on tubs, racks, or display tables at shows. Buyers scan the code and see the full public record: lineage, morph, health history, weight trends. Your animals speak for themselves. ANIMAL TRANSFERS Sell an animal and transfer the full record to the buyer. Pedigree, weight history, health records, photos. The buyer gets confidence. You get credibility. Records follow the animal, not just the breeder. BREED LEDGER CONNECTION Connect your ReptiDex account to Breed Ledger to sync your collection. Approve the connection once, and revoke access anytime from Settings. Your records, working across the tools you already use. BREEDING MANAGEMENT Create breeding seasons with year-over-year analytics. Pair animals, track separation dates, and log a lay date right from a profile for an estimated hatch window. Monitor clutches and log individual eggs from laid through candled, pipped, hatched, or failed, with candling photo documentation and expected hatch date alerts. COLLECTION TRACKING Add every animal with custom IDs, photos, species, sex, morph, and detailed notes. Search and filter instantly. Color-coded groups with 12 colors and 14 icons. Track animals from hatchling to breeder to sold. WEIGHT & HEALTH Log weights with interactive growth charts across multiple time windows. Spot trends, monitor health, get low-weight alerts. Bulk entry lets you weigh your entire collection in one session. IMPORT YOUR EXISTING DATA Already tracking in spreadsheets? Bring them with you. CSV and Excel import with smart field mapping. Fuzzy species matching identifies your animals even if the names don't match exactly. No starting from scratch. TEAM COLLABORATION Invite team members with role-based access: owner, admin, member, viewer. Pro supports up to 3 collaborators. Premium supports unlimited. CARE GUIDES 20+ built-in species guides covering temperature, humidity, feeding, and habitat. Difficulty ratings so you know what you're getting into. WORKS OFFLINE No signal at the expo?
