Blend: Meet People via Hobbies

Blend (13lend) is a social app that helps you meet people through communities built around your interests and hobbies. With the familiar cards swiping and matching experience of dating apps, Blend opens the door to connections beyond romance. That means you can make friends, find collaborators, connect with mentors, tutors, and local professionals, or meet a partner for your next activity. Whatever you’re interested in, find people to share it with. Love music? Meet people to share playlists or go to concerts with. Working toward a fitness goal? Find a workout partner to stay motivated with. Into books? Connect with fellow readers and start a book club. Need a handyman to fix your kitchen sink? Join a home repair or plumbing community to find someone who can help. From gaming and golf to travel, cooking, and photography, join or create communities around things you enjoy and everyday needs. What sets Blend apart is the power users have to shape the communities they join. Members can propose changes and vote on those changes to help their communities grow and improve. If you can’t find a community that fits your interests or needs, then create it. Once you join a community that interests you, go through profiles and like the people you’d like to connect with. If they like you back, it’s a match! From there, start a chat, get to know each other, and make plans.
