Wo isser? – BVG/VBB Live Map

Do not rely solely on the platform display board. Every Berliner knows the situation: The digital board promises "1 minute," but the bus simply does not arrive. Especially during bad weather or when you are in a rush, this uncertainty is frustrating. "Wo isser?" solves exactly this problem. We provide a high-performance live map for the entire public transport network in the Berlin-Brandenburg Association (VBB). Instead of displaying static schedule data, we visualize the actual real-time locations of vehicles. You can see immediately whether the bus is still stuck in traffic or already turning the corner. THE DIFFERENCE: SERVER INFRASTRUCTURE IN BERLIN Many transport apps suffer from slow loading times and high mobile data usage. "Wo isser?" sets a new standard here: We operate a custom-developed, distributed server infrastructure with locations directly in Berlin. Through this local presence and short data paths, we guarantee minimal latency—information takes the shortest route to you. Simultaneously, our optimized system ensures extremely low data consumption and maximum security: All processing is strictly GDPR-compliant and protected. Your queries remain private and secure. FEATURES AND COVERAGE The app covers the entire VBB area and integrates visually seamlessly into the familiar Apple Maps design. We eliminate account-specific hurdles—the app is designed for immediate access. Concrete examples for your daily life: • The "Notorious Lines": See live if the M41 or M29 is stuck in rush hour traffic again, and decide early on an alternative route. • U-Bahn and S-Bahn: Track the complete circulation of the Ringbahn or check if the U8 is actually running on schedule. • Regional Trains: For commuters from Brandenburg, the exact position of the RE1 or RE7 is essential. We show the train's progress in real-time, long before it pulls into the station. • Ferries: Water transport is fully integrated. Plan your trip to Wannsee precisely and see if the F10 ferry is just departing or still out on the water. BENEFITS AT A GLANCE • Instantly Ready: No login, no registration, no navigational menus. The map opens directly. • Data Efficiency: Our local compression technology preserves your data plan. Ideal for daily use without Wi-Fi. • Native Design: Choose between Standard, Hybrid, or Satellite views. The interface is intuitive and meets the high standards you expect from iOS. • Privacy: Since no account is required, we do not collect personal user data. Your movement profiles remain private. WHY AN ADDITIONAL APP? The official transport apps are excellent for purchasing tickets or planning routes months in advance. "Wo isser?" positions itself as a specialized supplement for immediate information needs. When you are standing at the stop asking yourself "Where is it?", this app delivers the fastest answer without detours. Avoid unnecessary waiting times and keep a clear overview of Berlin's transit network.
