Buzzit: Davis Marketplace

Buzzit is the local marketplace for UC Davis students and the Davis community. Sell what you no longer need, offer a service you are good at, or post a request for something you are looking for, and deal directly with people nearby. BROWSE WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT Home, search, listings and the Requests board are open to read. Sign in only when you want to save, reserve, message or post. TWO WAYS IN UC Davis students sign in with their university email. People who live in the Davis area join with a phone number and a Davis-area ZIP code, and confirm they are 18 or older. There is no password either way: we send a one-time code, and that is the whole sign-in. KNOW WHO YOU ARE DEALING WITH Every person shows a Student, Community or Team badge. A badge says only how someone joined. Students can keep a listing or request for students only, and can choose to see only what students posted. LISTINGS AND SERVICES Post items or services with photos, a price and a meet-up spot, or give something away for free. Buyers reserve, you confirm, and you settle between yourselves. Buzzit never takes payment and never charges a fee. REQUESTS Looking for something? Post a request and let people nearby reply. MESSAGES AND REVIEWS Chat inside the app to arrange a meet-up, then leave a review once an order is done. A SAFER LOCAL MARKETPLACE Every listing, request, review and message can be reported, and any person can be blocked. Sellers can add self-reported credentials to their profile; Buzzit does not verify them. PRIVACY No ads, no trackers, no location tracking. Photo location data is removed before upload.
