Playlist Buddy

Tired of hearing the same songs every time you shuffle a big playlist? Playlist Buddy lets you pick up right where you left off — so your music keeps moving forward, not looping. Built for large playlists and long listening sessions, Playlist Buddy tracks your progress across multiple shuffled playlists and helps you discover more of the music you already own. Tap any track to learn more about it — the musicians, production notes, fun facts, and similar songs to play next. Generate any playlist you can imagine with a simple description, build one around the song you're playing, or scan a photo of a tracklist. Play a daily song puzzle drawn from your own playlists, or from Apple Music's charts and curated Essentials playlists. Powered by Apple Intelligence, on your device or on Private Cloud Compute, or by Claude with Playlist Buddy Pro. Features: • Resume shuffle playback in large Apple Music playlists • Manage multiple shuffled playlists at once, each remembering its position • "Learn More" insights on any song — musicians, production notes, fun facts, and similar songs • A daily song puzzle from your playlists, or from Apple Music charts and curated Essentials playlists — nothing is added to your library • Create any playlist from a description, a song, or a photo of a tracklist • Identify the song playing around you • Clean, lightweight companion built for Apple Music Playlist Buddy Pro: Claude writes for the whole app — Learn More, puzzle clues, and generated playlists — with a monthly allowance generous for everyday use. Everything works without it on Apple Intelligence, for free.
