About Portal Keys
Portal Keys is a simple, elegant space for creating and practicing your own positive “why” questions — a reflective tool that helps your mind notice possibility, patterns, and opportunities you might otherwise miss. A Portal Key isn’t an affirmation in the statement sense of the word. It’s an affirming question that invites your mind to look for evidence of growth and momentum. Examples: • Why am I finding more clarity around my finances? • Why is it becoming easier for me to wake up early and start my day with purpose? • Why do I find energy for what matters most? The app helps you: • Create meaningful Portal Keys • Practice your questions distraction-free • Explore a more intentional way of working with your mindset Portal Keys is for anyone who wants to notice evidence of possibility instead of rehearing evidence of limitation. Ask the question. Notice the moments. Grow your reality. Portal Keys is free forever and 100% offline
What’s new
Version 2.2.0 · Updated October 5, 2026
Your practice history is now permanent. Stats used to be wiped if you deleted and reinstalled Portal Keys — your streaks, totals, and category breakdowns now live in secure storage and survive a reinstall. Existing stats carry over automatically. Also in this update: • The lotus blooms and closes in time with the breathing phase and countdown, instead of drifting out of step. • Breathing sessions run smoothly from start to finish, and the closing chime no longer breaks up partway through. • The lotus now fits smaller screens — it was pushing the Start and Skip buttons off the bottom on shorter phones. • Practices are no longer counted twice if you tap the exit button twice quickly. • Settings labels use the full row width instead of wrapping early, and the settings dialog no longer sits behind the keyboard. • Updated links for our new home at portalkeys.app.
