Calling the Court Time Crew! This is our biggest update yet, and loads of it came straight from coaches like you. Just been handed the clipboard so the school team can play? Nothing new to learn. Pick your five, hit start, and Court Time keeps the minutes fair, same as always, only smoother. Want more control? Positions, Protect and the rotation settings are there whenever you need them. Court Time works both ways: set and forget, or fine-tune every rotation. PLAYER POSITIONS (Pro, optional) Tag your guards, forwards and centres, then choose how many of each must always be on court: Off, 1+ or 2+. The balance engine works them into your rotation with like-for-like swaps, and tells you before tip-off if your tags can't carry a setting without costing a kid their minutes. If a position runs short mid-game, Court Time asks you first: keep them on, or keep it fair? You get a heads-up on the cost before tip-off, and afterwards the debrief explains exactly what happened, with a line you can give parents. Works with squads of 8 or more, and stays off until you switch it on. FOUL TROUBLE? PROTECT Early fouls? Sit your player for a few minutes with one tap. Court Time suggests who comes on and adjusts their fair share, so the numbers stay honest. SMOOTHER ROTATIONS On Auto subs, big squads now rotate in smaller waves (no more five-for-five line changes), and it goes easy on subs late in each period. SCORES, POINTS & NOTES After the game, add the final score, each player's points and private coach notes. Points land on the parent receipt, with a heads-up if they don't add up to the team total. YOUR SEASON (Pro) Tap the blue clipboard on your roster for your record, your average gap, and every game with scores, points and notes. A SHARPER DEBRIEF Plain English, a different read every week, and the bigger the gap, the more it explains why. BETTER RECEIPTS Parents now get the final score, how many kids finished close to their fair share, and why if anyone didn't. ONE SIMPLE LOOK Game structure, positions and overtime now all use the same simple pill, so every setting works the same way. FOR THE SE AND MINI CREW To Ben, Matthew and everyone else rocking an SE or mini, thanks for the suggestions! This one's for you: sub suggestions now always show both names (long ones stack neatly instead of getting cut off), the bench scrolls properly with big squads and large text, the AI panel always slides fully into view, and at every break the big clock tucks away so more of your court and bench fit on screen. We love our small-phone coaches, and we're working hard to make Court Time just as easy on your phone as it is on the big ones. NEW IN 1.14.1: OVERTIME, SORTED Fair time is now measured on the quarters or halves only. Overtime minutes still show on the receipt and the summary, labelled OT, but they don't count for or against anyone's fair share, so a fair game stays fair when it goes to extra time.
