wieder: der die das trainer

der, die or das? German nouns carry a gender you cannot reliably guess, and getting it wrong doesn't stay contained — the article is wrong, then the adjective ending, then the pronoun. It's the most audible marker of a non-native speaker, and there's no shortcut around it. You learn them one word at a time. wieder does that one job, properly. HOW IT WORKS Each noun is a card. You see the word, you tap der, die or das, and the answer sweeps in under a highlighter. Right, and the word comes back in a few days. Wrong, and it's back tomorrow. That scheduling is the entire app. It runs FSRS-4.5 — the algorithm behind modern Anki — to put each word in front of you at the moment you're about to lose it, and not before. No time spent on words you already know. WHAT'S INSIDE • The full A1 noun list — around 380 words with their articles, plurals and English meanings • 88 article rules with their exceptions, one tap away, so you learn why a word takes the gender it does • Every plural shown and spoken on reveal • German pronunciation from your device's own voice • Grammar lessons and quizzes, on the same scheduler • A progress view that shows how much has genuinely reached long-term memory — not how many cards you've flipped STAYS OUT OF THE WAY • Fully offline. The whole deck ships inside the app — no download, no waiting, no signal required. • No account. Nothing to create, nothing to log into. • No ads, no in-app purchases. • One optional daily reminder, and only on days you actually have words due. YOUR DATA STAYS ON YOUR PHONE Progress, streak and scheduling never leave the device. There's no account, so there's nothing to attach your practice to. Anonymous usage counts help improve the app and can be turned off in Settings. Nothing is in the cloud, which also means deleting the app deletes your progress for good. LEVELS A1 ships today. A2, B1 and B2 appear in the level picker marked as coming soon — they have no content yet, and nothing is behind a paywall. "wieder" is German for "again". That's what spaced repetition is.
