inciq

Inciq helps you understand what’s in your skincare and cosmetics — quickly, clearly, and personally. Easily paste an ingredient list or scan a product and get a clear, evidence-based breakdown of every ingredient. Inciq translates INCI names into plain language, flags potential irritants and allergens, estimates comedogenicity, and highlights ingredients with pregnancy or breastfeeding concerns. Key features: Ingredient intelligence: Local database of common cosmetic ingredients with plain-language descriptions, function tags, safety scores, comedogenic ratings, and pregnancy notes. Product analysis: Paste ingredient lists or scan a barcode (stub); parsed ingredients are matched against the database and the product receives an overall safety score. See high-concern and medium-concern ingredients at a glance. Personalization: Create a Skin Profile (skin type, concerns, sensitivities, pregnancy/breastfeeding) and get tailored warnings and “Good match / Potential conflict” guidance. Routines: Build and manage Morning, Evening, and Weekly routines with your saved products. See routine-level safety summaries. Watchlist: Add ingredients you want to avoid and get alerts when those appear in product analyses. Free & Inciq Pro: Free tier includes essential analysis and limited saved items. Inciq Pro unlocks unlimited scans, full ingredient detail, advanced pregnancy insights, unlimited routines, watchlist, and ad-free use (1-week free trial). Quality UX: Clean SwiftUI design, accessible typography, and a simple onboarding flow to get started fast. Why Inciq? Many cosmetic ingredient names are opaque — Inciq turns them into actionable information you can actually use. Whether you’re avoiding irritants, tracking pregnancy-safe ingredients, or building an acne-safe routine, Inciq helps you make safer choices with confidence.
