RacePoint

About RacePoint

Additions Stewards’ penalties — apply time penalties, points deductions, position drops and disqualifications (each with an optional reason) to Time Trial, Target Time, Quali+Race and rally events from the new Stewards card. Smarter Setup Engineer — class, engine-layout and drivetrain notes for the category you pick, plus Dirt Rally 2.0 driving and braking diff locks for rally cars. iCloud storage-full guidance — when iCloud is full, RacePoint now tells you your data is safe on the device and offers a backup. Visible first-time sync — ongoing iCloud sync shows in the toolbar, and the “Setting up RacePoint” banner no longer reappears on every launch. Fully translated in all eight supported languages, including errors, Siri/Shortcuts text and VoiceOver labels. Fixes Launch hang fixed — the app could be killed by iOS at launch after the 1.6.0 data update. Setup Engineer accuracy — corrected inverted or contradictory advice (F1 25 differential, ACC GT4 anti-roll bars, wet-weather pressures and camber, rally oversteer). Recalculate Season now keeps Target Time points, rally results and Quali+Race results intact, and matches how events are scored when completed. Penalties & results — reopening a Quali+Race race no longer turns a DNF-then-disqualified driver into a finisher, and VoiceOver announces disqualified drivers correctly. Faster and lighter — faster first iCloud download, onboard videos are compressed before saving, and car-class badges and Setup Engineer tiles are easier to read.
