QuickRoll: Smart Attendance

Secure QR-based attendance system with anti-proxy protection. 1. Introduction QuickRoll("we," "our," or "us") is a digital attendance management solution designed to streamline the attendance process for educational institutions. By utilizing secure QR code technology, QuickRoll helps faculty and students save time and eliminate the inefficiencies of manual roll calls. 2. Information We Collect To provide the attendance services, the app requires specific permissions and collects the following limited data: * Personal Information: We collect basic student and faculty details (such as Name, Roll Number, and Email) to identify users within the attendance system. * Device Information: We collect a unique Device ID (device fingerprinting) to bind your account to your specific phone. This ensures that a student cannot mark attendance for others using a different device. * Camera Access: The app requires camera permission solely for the purpose of scanning attendance QR codes. We do not record videos or take photos for any other purpose. 3. How We Use Your Data We use the collected data strictly for the app's core functionality: * To verify the identity of the user. * To prevent fraudulent or "proxy" attendance. * To generate attendance reports for faculty. 4. Data Storage and Security * Data Storage: Your attendance records are stored securely in a cloud database. * Security: We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS) to protect data while it is being transmitted between your device and our servers. * No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to third parties. 5. Account Deletion If you wish to delete your account or data from our testing database, please contact us at the email address provided below, and we will remove your information. 6.
