About Ear Training: SolfègePRO

Stop guessing what to practice next. SolfègePRO turns your practice history into a focused daily plan. It finds weak intervals, chords, notes, and timing habits, recommends the next drill, and lets you start with the right settings already prepared. Train ear, rhythm, sight reading, singing, and guitar or bass fretboard in one place. --- RESULTS THAT SHAPE YOUR NEXT SESSION --- • See specific weak spots—not just one overall score • Get a recommended next drill for each weakness and start it immediately • Build a daily plan around your goal, instrument, level, available time, and weak areas • Track change with day, week, month, and year reports plus a practice calendar • Stay consistent with three-tier goals, streaks, badges, and Home/Lock Screen widgets --- 9 WAYS TO TRAIN --- • Rhythm: tap or clap; measure rush, drag, and consistency to the millisecond • Rhythm Sight Reading: read a rhythm score and reproduce it by tapping • Intervals: identify ascending, descending, and harmonic intervals • Chords: recognize major, minor, 7th, diminished, augmented, root position, and inversions • Scales: hear church modes, pentatonic scales, melodic minor, and harmonic minor • Chord Progressions: connect function, Roman numerals, and chord symbols • Sight Reading: practice treble/bass clef, key signatures, accidentals, and ledger lines • Fretboard: six-string guitar plus four- and five-string bass; play back notes, intervals, and melodies by ear • Vocal Solfege: sing from notation and receive pitch and rhythm feedback through the microphone --- BUILT FOR A DAILY PRACTICE HABIT --- Open today’s plan from the Home Screen, Lock Screen, Live Activity, or Control Center. Three goal levels make it easier to keep the habit even on short practice days. Sixteen spotlight guides explain each feature on the real app screen, so you can learn a new training mode while using it. --- FREE & PRO --- • The 30–300 BPM metronome is completely free • Try all 9 training modes with 15 shared introductory credits—no card required • After the trial, basic practice shares 5 units/day: 20 quiz answers, 4 input rhythm bars, 16 valid singing bars or 5 fretboard answers per unit. Unfinished use carries over; Progression requires Pro • Pro unlocks advanced difficulty, ranges, playback choices, question counts, and deeper customization • Monthly, yearly, and lifetime options; available plans and local prices appear on the purchase screen --- MADE FOR --- Musicians learning to transcribe by ear Students preparing for music exams, auditions, or conservatory entrance Singers building sight-singing accuracy Guitarists and bassists connecting sound to the fretboard Anyone who wants a clear daily practice path instead of another list of drills Questions or ideas? What’s new

Version 1.4.12 · Updated October 8, 2026

1.4.12: Training variety and feedback Fixed repeating question orders in interval, chord, scale, progression, sight-reading and fretboard training. Added sight-singing exercises in 3/4 and 6/8 to improve variety. With few possible answers, short repeats can occur to avoid a predictable order. • Free users may see a frequency-limited Pro reminder after practice. Automatic reminders are excluded for Pro users. • An optional survey asks about satisfaction and your current practice focus. You can close it and continue practicing without answering. • Settings → About now includes controls to stop usage analytics and survey responses. Sending answers requires your consent. The practice-plan and free-credit accounting rules corrected in 1.4.11 are repeated below. The initial 15 credits are shared by all trainers. Answer-based practice uses a credit from the third cumulative answer, then every 20 answers; singing uses a credit per 16 valid input bars. Plan rhythm practice uses 20 input bars per credit. Standalone rhythm reserves a credit at start for up to 20 bars. No input is refunded; short-input refunds are limited to three per day. Answer, singing and plan usage and unused portions carry over after stopping or restarting. New practice counts; duplicate notifications do not. Discarding results does not refund practice. The first outcome-cycle exemption continues. After the full-feature trial, all basic trainers share 5 units per day. One unit covers 20 interval/chord/scale/sight-reading answers, 4 rhythm bars with input, 16 valid singing bars or 5 fretboard answers. Answer-based practice reserves its first unit at the third cumulative answer. Usage and unused portions carry over when you stop or switch trainers. Input failures and no input do not consume usage. Basic usage and carry-over reset the next day. Progression, locked advanced settings and unlimited practice require Pro. Bug fixes and corrections to usage counting may be made without prior notice. Changes will be described in update notes. Changes to the scope or limits of free access will also be shown in the app.
