KitchenCost - Recipe Costing

No spreadsheets. See your margins at a glance. Still calculating food cost in a spreadsheet every night? Ever set a price by gut feeling, only to find no profit left at the end of the month? I built KitchenCost after watching my wife spend 30 minutes costing every new menu item at her cafe. Now it's your turn to spend that time cooking, not calculating. Add ingredients once, and KitchenCost calculates recipe cost, food cost %, margin %, and a recommended selling price. ▶ FOOD COST IN 5 SECONDS Add ingredients once. Costs update automatically. See food cost, cost per serving, total cost, and ingredient breakdown at a glance. ▶ PRICING THAT HITS YOUR TARGET "How much should I charge to keep food cost at 30%?" Set a 70% target margin and get the selling price instantly, with food cost % shown right next to it. ▶ SUB-RECIPES, AUTO-UPDATED Create sub-recipes like sauces and dressings as recipes. When ingredient prices change, every recipe using them updates automatically. ▶ ORGANIZE YOUR MENU Dairy, sauces, desserts... sort things your way. ▶ ANY CURRENCY YOU NEED Pick a preset or type your own to use any currency. ▶ BUILT FOR PEOPLE SELLING FOOD Whether you run a cafe, a food truck, a catering kitchen, or a home bakery side hustle — KitchenCost is for anyone who sells the food they cook. Unlike enterprise software like meez, KitchenCost is lightweight and fast. Set up in minutes with no onboarding calls or training. ▶ YOUR RECIPES, YOUR CONTROL All data stored safely on your device. Sync runs only when you choose to enable it, and synced data is encrypted in transit and at rest. No account needed to start — your data stays local on your device by default. ▶ DARK MODE Easy on the eyes during late-night menu planning. --- FAQ Q: Do I need an account?
