About Svenska Stegvis
Learn Swedish step by step with Svenska Stegvis — an app for SFI students and anyone who wants to build practical Swedish vocabulary for everyday life, work, and study. Built for SFI: Study vocabulary organized around SFI A, B, C, and D. Each card includes the Swedish word, grammatical forms, translation, example sentences, IPA pronunciation hints, and noun gender shown as Utrum (en) or Neutrum (ett). Search across decks, word forms, and example sentences to find any word quickly. Smart Flashcards: Spaced repetition helps you review words at the right time and remember them for longer. Your Vocabulary Progresses Naturally: New → Learning → Mastered Ways to Practice: • Listening — hear Swedish and choose the correct meaning • Word Ordering — rebuild Swedish sentences from scrambled words • Pronunciation — record yourself and check whether your pronunciation is recognized • Spelling — listen and type the Swedish word from memory Practice is based on the vocabulary you are currently studying, connecting every exercise with your learning. Learn in Your Language: Svenska Stegvis supports Swedish, English, Arabic, Ukrainian, Dari, Chinese, and Russian for the interface, vocabulary meanings, and example sentences. Track Your Progress: See your study streak, mastered vocabulary, words due for review, and activity across different exercises. Start Free: Study the full Basic Level as a guest, without an account. A free account adds SFI C chapters 1–3, a preview deck from each of A, B, and D, pronunciation and spelling practice, activity history, and a daily study reminder. Upgrade to Premium: Unlock all SFI A–D content, spaced repetition review, My Deck, detailed progress analytics, and automatic sync across devices. Study Your Way: • Swedish → English and English → Swedish • Adjustable pronunciation speed • Automatic Swedish audio • Offline flashcards • Light and dark themes From your first Swedish words to continued SFI study, Svenska Stegvis helps you every day and make steady progress.
