Lost in Letters: Dyslexia

Lost in Letters is an app that allows you to experience dyslexia indirectly. Through interactive experiences rather than simple explanations, the app helps you better understand the challenges people with dyslexia face when reading and processing text. By stepping into their perspective, Lost in Letters encourages you to rethink the act of reading—something many of us take for granted. Key Features - What is Dyslexia? Provides essential information to help users build a basic understanding of dyslexia, its characteristics, and how it affects reading and learning. - Typoglycemia Experience the 'typoglycemia phenomenon' firsthand, where letters appear jumbled while remaining partially readable—demonstrating how reading can become cognitively demanding. - Experience Dyslexia Experience some of the most common difficulties people with dyslexia face when reading or engaging with long-form text. - Adjust for Better Reading Explore various customization options inspired by real coping strategies used by people with dyslexia, allowing you to see how adjustments can improve readability. - Read Through Their Eyes Gain a deeper understanding of the visual challenges by reading text with a restricted field of view, reflecting how dyslexia can affect visual perception. - Dyslexia in Everyday Life Go beyond reading and experience the everyday challenges people with dyslexia may encounter in real-life situations.
