NEW MAP • A faster, smoother map, fully rebuilt for better performance • Rotate the map freely, with a compass button to snap back to north • 3D buildings, with the map tilting into view when you turn them on • Satellite view, now free for everyone • North Atlantic Tracks shown on the map, with an "on track" tag in the flight window 3D AIRCRAFT • Every aircraft is now a detailed 3D model at every zoom level • Aircraft and flight paths are drawn at their real altitude over the terrain • Real sunlight for the time of day, aircraft lights and ground shadows • New chase camera that follows behind the tail of the aircraft you're tracking • Flight replays now show the aircraft in 3D WEATHER & AIRPORTS • See live weather at airports: rain, snow, storms and fog • A new weather button on the map, and a weather tag in the flight window • Airports with inbound traffic are marked on the map, green when ATC is online • Tap an airport marker to open it REDESIGNED INTERFACE • A new pull-up panel for search, stats and tools • A floating dock that can shrink down to just the search bar • Windows now grow smoothly out of the dock and fold back into it • New "Horizon" flight window, matching the website.
