About Amara – Connecting Families

The Amara family app connects your phone to Amara Home at your parents' place. Amara Home is a tablet with its own dock that your parents use by voice. With the family app, you send photos and messages, start video calls, and set up Amara Home to suit your parents. Share photos Send a photo through the family app and it appears on Amara Home, as a picture frame and in the family album. Start video calls Video call your parents from the family app. It works the other way around too: your mom says she'd like to see you, and the video call starts. She doesn't have to look up a number. Send messages and voice messages Send your parents a message or voice message whenever you like. They simply reply by voice, even without a smartphone of their own. Set up reminders Set up reminders for doctor's appointments, birthdays, and routines in the family app. Amara then gently reminds your parents by voice, as often as needed. Adjust Amara Home Amara Home arrives ready to use. You make changes in the family app, so your parents don't have to set anything up themselves. Bring in the whole family The family app is part of the Amara membership, for as many family members as you like. So every grandchild sends their own photos to Grandma and Grandpa. How your parents use Amara Home Your parents use Amara Home by voice: show photos, turn on the radio, start a video call, listen to voice messages. They can tap the screen, but they don't have to. They don't need a smartphone, Wi-Fi is enough. There's also a built-in SIM card. Designed in Berlin We design Amara Home in Berlin. Your data is processed under GDPR and never sold. Amara Home is currently available in Germany.
