What’s new
Version 0.4.1 · Updated September 23, 2026
Explain: understand a lyric, don't just translate it. Tap any word or phrase in a song and you'll find a new Explain button next to the translation. Instead of a one-word gloss, you get: • What it means in that exact line — including when it's slang, an idiom or wordplay that a literal translation flattens • Other common meanings, so you recognise the word the next time you meet it • Two example sentences with translations, showing how it's really used Every explanation is written in your Native Language and takes the song, the artist and the lines around the word into account — so "break" in a breakup ballad doesn't come back meaning the same thing as "break" in a dance track. Explain works anywhere lyrics do, karaoke mode included, and it's there even when a translation can't be loaded.
