You are the cashier on the night shift. There is one button. Press it, and something comes down the belt. Most of the time it is bread. Sometimes it is a Golden Apple. Once in a very long while it is something that has no business being in a supermarket at all, and the shop stops being a shop for about twelve seconds. Cashier's RNG is a collecting game about odds. 119 items across seven rarities, from Fresh Apple at 1 in 13 to a single Glitched entry at 1 in 1,000,000. Every scan is a real roll. Nothing is scripted, nothing is dripped out on a timer, and the rare thing is genuinely rare. WHAT IS IN THE SHOP - 119 items to find, every one with a hand-written page in the ledger - Seven rarities: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and one Glitched - Seven anomalies that arrive with their own scene, played out in the shop around you rather than as a cutaway - A display cabinet with seven alcoves, and something behind the door once the last one is filled - 27 pieces of gear for the cashier, from a clerk's visor to a crown - A morning delivery streak, three shift goals a day, and a shelf of specials that restocks at midnight - A window that shows the sky for your actual time of day, whenever you happen to be playing - Luck coupons and a faster belt, if you would rather not wait - Tap the customer-facing screen to hear an item's name in twelve languages (that one needs a connection) HOW IT WORKS 1. Press SCAN ITEM. 2. Watch the belt. 3. Do it again. Turn auto-scan on and it runs itself while you read the ledger. WHAT IS NOT IN THE SHOP No in-app purchases. No account, no sign-in, no energy meter, no timer to wait out. It plays with no connection at all and it saves on your own device. A small banner sits under the board on phones with room for it, and an optional ad in UPGRADES doubles your luck for ten minutes — nothing is ever locked behind one. MADE OF NOTHING There is not one image file in this game. Every item, every sprite and every face in the dark is drawn in code, and the whole soundtrack -- a lo-fi song called AISLE 3 -- is synthesised while you play.
