Your next order starts with someone’s usual. Makan is a food diary you keep with friends. It helps you decide what to order, remember the meals you loved and see what your friends are eating. KNOW YOUR PLACE? PROVE IT. Once people start saving meals at a restaurant, its page shows a Regulars board. Save yours and see where you stand. Lead the board and you earn Maître d’, which lets you share your usual order with the next diner, in the app or as a picture. FIND SOMETHING YOU CRAVE Save a friend’s meal to Cravings. Discover shows you where it’s from. Makan Picks puts collections of places on a map you can browse by area. KEEP THE MEAL. AND THE PEOPLE. Your diary keeps the photo, the place and who you were with, on a calendar you can scroll back through. EAT OR YEET Two of your saved meals, side by side. Pick the one you’d eat again first, call them equal or skip. Your picks teach Makan your taste. HOW MAÎTRE D’ WORKS Makan counts the different days you ate at a restaurant in the last 60 days. Meals on the same day count once. You need at least two days, and more than any other regular. Eat or Yeet doesn’t decide the title. FREE, AND YOURS Makan is free. You choose who sees each meal. Your Eat or Yeet history stays private, and you can leave Maître d’ without losing your diary. Restaurants can’t buy the title or pay to change dish suggestions. When Makan doesn’t know enough to help you choose, it says so.
