About Bravissimo

Bravissimo is a practice logging app designed specifically for classical musicians who are tired of generic time-tracking apps that don't understand repertoire workflow. KEY FEATURES: - IMSLP Integration - Add pieces directly from IMSLP's catalog with all metadata (opus numbers, catalogue numbers, movements) automatically included. No more manual data entry. - Smart Search - Find pieces instantly by work name, nickname, movement, opus number, or composer. - Collections - Organize related pieces together (Beethoven Sonatas, Chopin Etudes, etc.) to keep your growing repertoire manageable. - Practice Sessions - Log sessions with notes about what you worked on, what clicked, or what needs attention. - Sheet Music Access - Download scores directly from IMSLP within the app. Built by a pianist frustrated with having to create subtasks for each movement and manually enter catalogue information just to track practice time. Bravissimo understands how classical musicians actually work.

What’s new

Version 1.28.0 · Updated October 29, 2026

• The Practice tab shows one card per day. Each session has a coloured strip of everything you played, in order, with the pieces listed under it • Tap a block in the strip to see that stretch of practice: its times, the score pages you spent time on, and its notes. Hold and slide along the strip to move between them • Fix a session where it is: adjust a stretch's times, change its movement, merge it with the next one or delete it, then save or cancel all your changes at once • A session's page now looks like its day card, opened up • Merging two sessions waits a few seconds so you can change your mind • With MIDI, a session you started on one piece switches to the next piece you play, and a piece it adds to your library can be undone once • A session you forget to stop now ends when you last practised, and a MIDI session closes itself after 10 quiet minutes, with its Live Activity showing a summary • Notes live in one place per session: journal notes under the check-in, piece notes under their piece, with photos and pasted images • Breakdown is one softer card with rounded bars, and its list says how many pieces, notes and recordings it holds • The iPhone Practice bar names the month you are looking at • On iPad, the Practice tab sets your chart beside a "Jump back in" list of recent pieces • In Breakdown, tapping a bar picks the day under your finger, and a selected bar stays selected while you pan • If you uploaded a PDF that is also in the catalog, your practice history for it now shows on one score • MIDI play-throughs find your place more reliably in music that repeats • Deleting or merging part of a session keeps the time you spent reading its score • Fixed hard-to-read stats over a piece's score in dark mode • Practice totals, goals and search update everywhere as soon as a session ends • You can name where you practised a session even with Location off, and the name now saves every time • Sessions no longer store an approximate location. Only the weather and the place name you see are saved
