About Barracks Life
Barracks Life is the dedicated social network and support community designed exclusively for LGBTQ+ Veterans and Allies. Service members share a unique bond that civilians often don't understand. Barracks Life provides a safe, inclusive "digital base" where you can connect with others who have walked in your boots. KEY FEATURES: • Global Flow: Join the conversation. Share photos, stories, and updates with the entire veteran community in real-time. Like and comment to show support. • Intel: Follow the latest news developments effecting You and Your friends • Find Your Squad: Use our "Nearby Ranks" feature to find veterans in your local area. Whether you are looking for friendship, support, or networking, your squad is close by. • Access to Resources: Access the Support Resources with ease. • Service Identity: Proudly display your Branch of Service (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Space Force) on your profile. Connect with others who served in your branch. • Secure Comms: Chat directly with friends using our secure messaging system, complete with sticker support. • The Roster: Browse profiles to find specific connections based on shared experiences and location. Why Barracks Life? Generic social apps can be noisy and disconnected. Barracks Life is about Camaraderie. It’s about finding people who understand acronyms like DD-214, PCS, and MOS without explanation. Join the ranks today!
