What’s new
Version 1.9.4 · Updated October 5, 2026
Faster and more consistent everywhere • Lists, My Tasks, search, boards and pickers now run on Astrid's shared engine, so the app and the web behave the same way, and editing a task no longer reloads everything behind it. • Google Tasks sync runs on the same engine and no longer links a new task to one you'd already deleted in Google. New • Muse can now power Astrid's assistant. Pick it in Settings → AI. • Connections: set up and edit API connections right in the app, grouped by category. Fixes • Settings links from emails and chat open the right screen. • "Recently completed" lists now sort with the most recently finished first. • Formatted text (lists, code, quotes) shows properly in chat and comments. • Offline: the assignee picker works, and list badges no longer show 0. • iPad: the task-detail back arrow is easier to tap. • Mac: boards, My Tasks, mentions and search now match iPhone and iPad.
