Learning Habits - SPEEM

SPEEM is the learning habits app for everyone who wants to actually remember what they learn — middle and high schoolers, university students, professionals, and lifelong learners. A science-based learning app, dressed as a habit tracker. No AI. No ads. Your data stays yours. FOUR PRINCIPLES OF LEARNING SCIENCE, BUILT IN SPEEM is built on four principles drawn from cognitive-science research, woven through every tap. → Retrieval builds memory Trying to recall something strengthens it more than rereading. SPEEM asks short questions instead of showing you back your notes. → Spacing locks it in Every correct answer pushes the next review further out. SPEEM uses the FSRS-4.5 algorithm to pick the right gap — hours, then days, then weeks, then months. → Mixing builds connections Practicing several topics in alternation outperforms repeating one. With three or more topics, SPEEM interleaves them through your review session automatically. → Asking 'why' opens understanding Why and how questions tie new knowledge to what you already know. One tap on any concept adds your own "why does this matter?" anchor. That's the whole engine. No chatbot. No external AI. Every plan, every review, every recommendation runs on your device, in plain code.
