About Skiappen

New • Routes and points of interest in areas you have already seen show right away, also after the app was closed or without a connection. Routes load faster and use less mobile data. • Without a connection, the map says so and shows when its routes were loaded. Everything loads again on its own once the connection is back. Improved • On a weak connection, loads that stall are tried again sooner, and slow downloads are no longer cut off. • When the server stops answering, the app shows a network error instead of loading forever, and it recovers on its own when the server ends its session early. • When a route cannot be planned, the app explains why instead of showing technical error text. • Tapping near a route line that runs diagonally opens the route more reliably. • Screen readers name the back and clear buttons in search.
