PlowEasy 2.0.2 – Smarter Routes, Multiple Properties & More Thank you to everyone who sent feedback this season. This update is built around what you told us, starting with routes. SMARTER, MORE ACCURATE ROUTES • Completely rebuilt route optimizer. PlowEasy now plans a much tighter stop order and keeps improving it until no shorter order can be found, so you spend less time backtracking across town. • Accurate mileage. Route totals now come from real driving directions for every leg. If Apple Maps can't return directions for a leg, PlowEasy shows a clearly marked estimate (≈) instead of leaving it out, so your totals are never too low. • Your route no longer disappears. Large routes now appear as soon as they're ready, instead of sometimes jumping back to the client selection screen. • Better address matching. Addresses are now searched near your location, and an address that can't be found is never placed in the wrong town. It goes at the end of your route with a clear "Address not found" note so you can fix it. SEE YOUR WHOLE ROUTE WHILE YOU DRIVE • New Route Map on the Route Dashboard shows every stop, numbered in order: finished stops in green with a check mark, your next stop in orange, and the rest in blue. • Road lines show where you're headed, with the parts you've already driven greyed out. • Make the map bigger or smaller with one tap, or tap Fit Route to see everything at once. REAL DISTANCE AND ETA ON THE DASHBOARD • "Away" and ETA for your next stop now use real driving directions and update as you drive. • The Distance total now shows exactly what you have left: from where you are to your next stop, then through every stop you haven't finished. ADD A STOP MID-ROUTE • Got a new call while you're out? Tap Add Stop on the Route Dashboard and pick a client or create a new one on the spot. • Your finished stops stay checked off. Only the stops you haven't done yet, plus the new one, are re-planned from where your truck is right now. • Route History and your customers' live tracking update automatically. MULTIPLE PROPERTIES PER CLIENT • Clients can now have as many properties as you need: home, rental, business, camp and more. • Each property is its own stop on your route. When choosing clients, tick all of a client's properties at once or pick just the ones you're plowing today. • Every property is backed up to the cloud along with your clients and invoices. • Clients set up in earlier versions keep their original address. It's added as their Primary property automatically. YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IS REMEMBERED • No more tapping Restore Purchases every time you open the app. PlowEasy now checks your plan automatically when you open it and remembers it, even when signal is poor. INVOICE IMPROVEMENTS • Prices typed with a dollar sign or comma (like $45 or 1,200) are now read correctly instead of turning into $0.00. • Invoice numbers always continue from your highest number, so you never get duplicates. • Invoices for clients with special characters in their name (like Smith/Jones) now save correctly. MORE RELIABLE BACKUP AND RESTORE • Restoring on a new phone or after reinstalling no longer creates duplicate clients or invoices. • Restored clients keep their addresses for routes and maps. • If a restore can't finish because of poor signal, PlowEasy automatically tries again the next time you open it. BUG FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS • Customer stop updates are saved more reliably during your route. • General stability and performance improvements. PlowEasy is built by a plow operator in Sanford, Maine, for plow operators. If anything isn't working the way you expect, please reach out through the app's support page. Every message is read, and your feedback shapes every update. Stay safe out there this winter!
