About iMental: Private Mood Diary

iMental is a private, offline space for daily self-reflection – made by a practicing psychologist. No cloud, no ads, no tracking. THE STORY BEHIND iMENTAL I'm a practicing psychologist, and I created iMental because I couldn't find the tool I needed – something simple, beautiful, and completely private, for my work, my clients, and my own life. iMental is an intentional, personal project. I built it independently, without investors or a large team, specifically to keep it free from "engagement metrics," ads, and corporate interests. I wanted to preserve a particular feeling: calm, honest, and genuinely supportive. GROUNDED IN SCIENCE, BUILT FOR PRIVACY The approach is rooted in modern psychology and evidence-based self-help practices. • Your data stays on your device: no clouds, no servers, no tracking. • Your focus stays on you: no ads, no interruptions. WHAT'S INSIDE • Quick check-ins: note how you feel in 1–2 minutes. • Clear insights: see your trends and patterns through calm, intuitive charts. • Meaningful connections: notice how habits and events shape how you feel. • Practices to do, not just read: gentle breathing with an on-screen rhythm, and flip cards for seeing a thought from another side. • A small daily story: a short prompt to pause with – a question to yourself, a step outward, a different angle. • 60+ evidence-based tools, from breathing to mindfulness. • Minimalist design: a clean, distraction-free space for everyday comfort. WHO iMENTAL IS FOR • Those who want a gentler way to understand their emotions and reactions. • Anyone noticing shifts in how they feel and wanting to understand the "why." • People who value privacy and a digital sense of safety. • Anyone choosing mindful self-care over "optimization" and extremes. This isn't a mass-market product – it's a labor of love, made with care and professional attention. Begin today, and gradually return to a sense of clarity and steadiness – at your own pace. If you have ideas, thoughts, or simply want to share your experience, please reach out. I read and reply to every message personally. Email: [email protected] iMental supports everyday self-reflection and wellbeing. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional care.
