About Songhees Nation
From camas restoration at Maple Bank to the opening of new beach access at Plumper Bay, the Songhees Nation app follows what's happening across the Nation on southern Vancouver Island. Installing it is free of charge, and anyone can look around without an account. Start with the feed. Every post lands there first, and the tabs across the top sort it into jobs, events, news, forms and documents. The search button finds earlier posts from a word or a name. The calendar is the place to plan. Days with something on carry a small red dot, and tapping a date jumps the list straight to it, so a women's group session or a FireSmart dinner is easy to spot. Each event opens with its time, place and poster, and Add to Calendar saves it to your phone. Look for work in the jobs tab, where postings such as a medical office assistant or an early childhood educator list the pay, the hours and the full role. Open documents right in the app, from the summer programs guide and the monthly newsletter to project summaries like the Plumper Bay cleanup, and share any of them in a couple of taps. Fill in a form, save a post with the heart, and let notifications flag anything urgent the moment it's posted. Designed for iPhone and iPad.
