Discover Events & Clubs Around You • Event Discovery: Browse events and clubs by category, date, distance, city, and vibe. • Map & List View: See what’s happening nearby in a clean feed or on an interactive map. • Save & Follow: Save events, follow hosts and clubs, and build your own trusted network. Popular uses: Sports meetups, walks, hikes, board games, coffee meetups, study sessions, language exchange, book & cinema nights, creative circles, cultural tours, founders & tech meetups, and more. Join or Host in Seconds • Join Requests: Request to join instead of auto-joining; hosts manage capacity, waitlists, and rules. • Host Tools: Create events and clubs in minutes with clear descriptions, photos, tags, and requirements. • Flexible Controls: Choose group size, vibe, rules, and visibility for your community. Smart, Context-Based Socializing (Not Another Random DM App) Soshy is designed to protect your time and comfort: • No global people search: You can’t mass-search random users by name. • Context-based chat: Messaging unlocks only: – after you both attend the same event, or – inside the same club / group. This reduces spam, cold DMs, and creepy outreach. • Announcements & Group Chat: Built-in event and club chats for clear info, plans, and updates. You meet people through shared context—not endless swiping. Safety-First Design Soshy gives hosts and members clear tools to feel safer: • SMS Verification: Phone verification helps keep accounts real. • Women-only events (host-set): Hosts can create women-only spaces clearly labeled in advance. • Balanced-mix option: Hosts can set events aiming for balanced gender distribution, so expectations are transparent. • Clear Profiles & Rules: See host info, event rules, and capacity before you join. • Moderation Tools: Block, report, remove from events or clubs when needed. • Community Feedback: Rate events and experiences to highlight respectful, reliable communities. Smart Suggestions • Personalized Feed: Events and clubs suggested based on your interests, location, activity, and comfort preferences. • Small Groups First: We highlight curated, manageable group sizes where real conversations can happen. • Privacy Respect: Matching never locks you out of events; it only reorders suggestions. You can opt out anytime. Why Soshy? Soshy is built for people who want: • real-life events instead of endless scrolling • small, curated groups instead of chaotic mass chats • clear rules, transparent expectations, and safer spaces • tools for both participants and serious hosts If you care about who you meet, how you meet, and in what context—you’re in the right place.
