Version 2.1 ■ More accurate speech recognition - Your answer is now accepted even if some words are hard to pick up, as long as the key parts of the phrase come through. - Recognition covers many more similar-sounding pronunciations. - The app now waits briefly after you release the button so recognition can finish. - A quick tap no longer counts as an answer. You will be asked to press and hold to speak. ■ Smoother gameplay - The question card is shown from the start, and the screen no longer scrolls on its own while you record. - "Hold to speak" is now shown under the microphone button. - If the microphone or speech recognition is unavailable, the app now tells you why. - When your lives run out, a "Failed" screen appears and you can retry right away. - Skipping questions now lowers the stars you can earn. ■ Bug fix - Fixed an issue where restarting the app reset Controller-mode stars, unlocked stages, Arcade progress, and flight time. ■ Content improvements - Spoken audio now reads flight levels, headings, squawk codes, runways, frequencies, and winds the way they are said on aviation radio. - Gate and spot labels are read with the phonetic alphabet. - Katakana pronunciation guides for Missions 33 and later have been revised. - Real airline names have been replaced with fictional ones. - The order of the permission prompts on first launch has been tidied up. - Ads now also appear after clearing a stage on iPad. - The Daily Mission screen is now fully localized in Japanese.
