Sling Pilot Academy Hub

The Sling Pilot Academy Hub is the app for students, instructors and staff of Sling Pilot Academy. It brings your flight training into one place, on your iPhone, iPad and the web. YOUR NEXT FLIGHT See your next reservation the moment you open the app: time, aircraft, instructor and lesson. When the flight needs a flight risk assessment (FRAT), start it right there. It’s filled in from your booking, so it takes under a minute. YOUR PROGRESS See where you stand against your program plan, how many flight blocks a week you’re flying, your courses and lessons, and the hours left in your package, updated every morning. Open your full progress report for lessons, stage checks, checkrides and written exams. REQUESTS AND FORMS Message Scheduling, the Chief Instructors or Student Success, and keep each conversation in one thread. Request time off, ask for an instructor change, request your checkride, and save any form to finish later. TRAINING Ground school classes and materials, mentors who’ve been where you are, knowledge tests, and your checkride request, signed by your instructor right in the app. SAFETY Complete your FRAT, file a safety report, and see your recent FRATs. Upload documents such as your medical certificate straight from your camera, and get a reminder before they expire. FOR INSTRUCTORS See each student’s pace against the plan, who’s behind and who has stopped flying, and reach them in one tap. Send block requests and keep up with unlogged sessions. NOTIFICATIONS Get notified when someone replies, when a request is answered, and when something needs your attention.
